venusundaei don't know if i ever made a post about the cowboy wizard but if i did then i'm doing it again bc there's more to add to the saga now lmao
so my brother and i were leaving stage too, which is in a damn alley, and it's dark and chilly and late. on my way to the car i see this guy walking away wearing like a million long ass coats that go down to his ankles and my first thought was heh he looks like he's in wizard's robes. but he was also wearing a cowboy hat. he was walking toward the light of a shopping center near the alley and was all backlit and it was just his dramatic silhouette it was actually quite picturesque.
so when i get into the car i tell my brother "hey check it out... it's the cowboy wizard."
and as we drive down the alley i keep glancing at him in the rear view mirror and saying "omg is he following us?" and "holy shit the cowboy wizard is trying to attack us" and "he's gaining on us!" and my brother was like "omg stop you're actually freaking me out"
it was funny and dumb.
but then we get to the end of the alley, and it looks - to us - as if something huge is FLYING toward us. and we screamed. like we both straight up fucking screamed as tho the cowboy wizard was using his sick wizard powers to fling a huge thing at our damn car and we were about to die.
it all happened very fast. what the large flying thing actually was, was the hinged lid of a big ole dumpster behind a restaurant being flung open so an employee could throw stuff away. but like i said, it happened very fast. so we didn't realize that until after we screamed.
pretty sure that guy heard us bc when we passed him he kinda looked at us funny lmao.
now sometimes when we drive by people walkin w western swagger late at night we joke that it's the cowboy wizard or one of his rivals or something goofy like that.
my brother came home from a lil party w his pals the other day and told me there was another... encounter~
"so you were saying anything i say will be typed by you right? so my snapchat is... no don't write that i'm just kidding.
"it was a temperate arizona evening, and all through the streets not a creature was stirring not even a meats. [laughs at own joke] i had just finished marching band practice and my friend was going to take me and my other friend home in her fancy green truck.
"we drop off the other friend first. we get to her house which has a long winding driveway. the friend gets out and i move to sit in the front... BUT
"as i get out of the truck i notice a tall white rock standing in the driveway. it startled me bc i thought it was a human! this prompted me to begin mischief upon my friend driving me home.
"i get into the car, worriedly, saying 'friend, oh my gosh oh my gosh! go go quickly!'
"friend responds with 'what? what? what is it?'
"i respond with 'the cowboy wizard is coming.'
"the two of us began to pretend to freak out when a small black cat jumps from another large rock in the driveway. the two of us begin screaming VERY loudly, thinking that the cowboy wizard cast a spell in which the dark sky was falling upon the ground in front of us.
"the rest of the car ride back consisted of laughing and screaming about cowboy wizards."
